About Cadoneghe Festival

Spanning May and June, Cadoneghe celebrates its most anticipated festival around the parish of Sant'Andrea Apostolo, on Via Garibaldi. Ten days of festivities with a food stand offering Venetian specialties, dancing evenings, shows, and events for younger audiences with rock dance music. The food stand opens at 7:00 PM every evening: a community event that draws families and groups of friends from across the urban area of Padua.

The village festival in Cadoneghe

The Cadoneghe Festival is the community celebration of the Municipality of Cadoneghe, on the outskirts of Padua, held in the grounds of the parish of Sant'Andrea Apostolo, at Via Garibaldi 2. For about ten days, between late May and early June, the village gathers around a food stand and an evening program of music and dancing.

Food stand and dancing evenings

The heart of the festival is the food stand, open every evening from 7:00 PM, serving Venetian cuisine specialties. The evenings are enlivened by orchestras and bands for ballroom dancing and by shows, with events also designed for younger audiences, such as rock dance music nights. A proven formula that makes the Cadoneghe Festival a meeting point for the entire area.

A community celebration on the outskirts of Padua

Organized by the parish with the support of volunteers, the festival is one of the most cherished events on the local calendar. It should not be confused with the patronal feast of Sant'Andrea, which is celebrated in Cadoneghe on November 30th.
