Eleven nights of free concerts, since 1993 in Trescore Balneario
The Bum Bum Festival is a true institution of the Lombard music scene. It takes place in Trescore Balneario, a municipality in the Val Cavallina in the province of Bergamo, at Parco Le Stanze, and since 1993 it has pursued an against-the-grain mission: to offer a major music festival completely free of charge. "100% FREE. 100% FUN" is the motto that accompanies it, summarizing the spirit of one of the most beloved events in Northern Italy.
What makes the Bum Bum Festival special is its nature: it is organized and managed entirely by volunteers, driven by a passion for music and a strong commitment to solidarity. This model allows for free entry and affordable food and drink prices, in a well-maintained setting that has attracted a large and loyal audience over the years.
Over its editions, the festival has hosted more than a hundred Italian and international artists, including prominent names in Italian music such as Subsonica, Modena City Ramblers, Elio e le Storie Tese, and Negrita. The lineup spans various genres and offerings, always maintaining a high focus on quality and variety, with particular attention to the rock and singer-songwriter scene.
The concerts are held at Parco Le Stanze, with gates opening in the late afternoon and shows starting in the evening. The Bum Bum Festival is much more than a concert series: it is a meeting place for the Val Cavallina area and the entire province of Bergamo, capable of uniting music, social commitment, and conviviality over eleven summer nights.
The 33rd edition of the Bum Bum Festival returns to Parco Le Stanze in Trescore Balneario (Bergamo) from August 20 to 30, 2026, with eleven nights of completely free concerts. True to its "100% FREE. 100% FUN" spirit, the festival confirms the formula that has made it one of the most beloved in Northern Italy.
