Edition 2025 — Bruschetta Festival

The 2025 edition of the Bruschetta Festival took place on August 15, 16, and 17 at the Sanctuary of Montevergine in Palmariggi, starting at 9:00 PM with free entry. Three days of toasted bruschetta, local Salento products, and folk music, with a gluten-free station managed in collaboration with AIC Puglia.

The 2025 Bruschetta Festival in Palmariggi was held on the evenings of August 15, 16, and 17 at the Sanctuary of Montevergine, with stalls and performances opening at 9:00 PM and free entry. The stars were bruschetta made with toasted bread topped with local extra virgin olive oil, alongside cheeses, cured meats, sandwiches with roasted meat and horse meat stew, pittule, and other local zero-kilometer products. A station dedicated to gluten-intolerant visitors was also available, set up in collaboration with AIC Puglia, offering gluten-free bruschetta, sandwiches, pittule, spumone, and beer. The evenings were accompanied by Salento folk music, featuring performances by Antonio Castrignano and Ta Korassia. The event was organized by the Mons Jovis association with the patronage of the Municipality of Palmariggi.

Programme

  • August 15, 2025 — Opening night, food stalls, and Salento folk music, from 9:00 PM
  • August 16, 2025 — Zero-kilometer bruschetta and concert by Antonio Castrignano and Ta Korassia, from 9:00 PM
  • August 17, 2025 — Closing night with tastings and live music, from 9:00 PM
