Edition 2025 — Bruschetta Festival
The 2025 Bruschetta Festival in Palmariggi was held on the evenings of August 15, 16, and 17 at the Sanctuary of Montevergine, with stalls and performances opening at 9:00 PM and free entry. The stars were bruschetta made with toasted bread topped with local extra virgin olive oil, alongside cheeses, cured meats, sandwiches with roasted meat and horse meat stew, pittule, and other local zero-kilometer products. A station dedicated to gluten-intolerant visitors was also available, set up in collaboration with AIC Puglia, offering gluten-free bruschetta, sandwiches, pittule, spumone, and beer. The evenings were accompanied by Salento folk music, featuring performances by Antonio Castrignano and Ta Korassia. The event was organized by the Mons Jovis association with the patronage of the Municipality of Palmariggi.
