Brione's red apples celebrate

The Brione Apple Festival is the event that celebrates an iconic product of this small municipality in Valle Trompia, in the Province of Brescia: the "pom ros de Briù", the characteristic local red apples. Every autumn, the village comes alive for three days dedicated to the flavours of the region, in a celebration that blends gastronomy, agriculture, and tradition.

The apple in the kitchen

The absolute star is the apple, featured in a thousand ways: restaurants, inns, and farmhouses in the village offer traditional menus and culinary reinterpretations that feature the apple as the main ingredient, from savoury dishes to desserts. The gastronomic offerings are accompanied by wine tastings from the region, on a flavour journey that highlights the products of the Brescia mountains.

Market, workshops, and convivial moments

Alongside the gastronomy, the festival offers an agricultural market with local products, workshops, and entertainment for all ages. Among the most anticipated events are the Farmer's Dinner on Saturday evening and the closing Farmer's Apericena, convivial occasions that recall the rural spirit of the festival.

A celebration of the territory

The Apple Festival is organized by the Municipality of Brione in collaboration with the Mountain Community of Valle Trompia, local associations, schools, and restaurateurs. An example of how a small community can transform a local product into an occasion for celebration and promotion of its territory, amidst the woods and flavours of Valle Trompia.
