In the Bosco delle Fontane (Fountain Woods) in Cismon del Grappa, now part of the Municipality of Valbrenta in the province of Vicenza, the Brintaal Celtic Folk festival, dedicated to Celtic music and culture, takes place annually. The name itself, "Brintaal", recalls the ancient link between the Brenta valley and Celtic tradition.
Four days of folk music
The festival features live concerts by folk and Celtic bands, spread over several days. Brintaal's unique feature is that all concerts are free: music is the heart of the event, accompanied by dances, entertainment, and the unique atmosphere of the woods.
A Celtic village in the woods
In addition to music, the Bosco delle Fontane hosts a true village with a Celtic setting, featuring stalls, crafts, refreshment points, and reconstructions that immerse the public in a timeless atmosphere. It is an event that combines musical entertainment, culture, and the discovery of the natural landscape of Valbrenta.
An end-of-summer event
Held at the end of August, Brintaal Celtic Folk concludes the summer in Valbrenta with a festival that attracts fans of folk music and Celtic culture from all over the Veneto region and beyond, in a natural setting at the foot of the Grappa Massif.
Brintaal Celtic Folk — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Brintaal Celtic Folk will take place from Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30 in the Bosco delle Fontane in Cismon del Grappa, Valbrenta.
Four days of free live concerts dedicated to folk and Celtic music, accompanied by dances, entertainment, and the Celtic-themed village set up in the woods.
