Braidi Ricotta Festival

The 2025 Braidi Ricotta Festival renewed the early September appointment in the hamlet of Braidi, Montalbano Elicona, in the heart of the Nebrodi Park. The day offered tastings based on fresh Nebrodi ricotta: served with honey, breaded and fried, and the star of desserts such as cassate, cannoli, sweet ravioli, and gelato.

Among the most appreciated savory dishes were the pasta with Nebrodi black pork sauce and baked ricotta, and arancini with ricotta and black truffle. The event, organized by the "Padre Arlotta" ANSPI Circle, was enlivened by musical and folkloric shows, confirming the Braidi community's bond with the dairy and gastronomic traditions of the Messina territory.
