Borghi in Maschera — Lenta Carnival Dinner and Bean Feast

In 2025, the municipality of Lenta, in the Vercelli province, renewed the tradition of the Carnival dinner and bean feast, the signature dish of the festival in the Borghi delle Vie d'Acqua territory. The bean feast, cooked in large cauldrons and shared with the community, represented the convivial heart of the Piedmontese Carnival once again in 2025, amidst masked dances and the joy of the village streets.

As every year, the event was part of the wider network of the Piedmontese widespread Carnival, an opportunity to showcase the village and strengthen the sense of community around the table. The dinner and bean feast confirmed the vitality of a popular festival that, edition after edition, preserves the rural identity and carnival tradition of the lower Vercelli area.
