The largest European exhibition dedicated to historic cars and motorcycles
Auto e Moto d'Epoca is the most important event in the sector in Europe dedicated to historic cars and motorcycles. After its historic editions in Padua, where the fair was founded in 1983, the event moved in 2023 to the large halls of BolognaFiere, in the municipality of Bologna, the capital of Emilia-Romagna. The 2026 edition takes place from Thursday, October 22nd to Sunday, October 25th and covers over 235,000 square meters of exhibition space across thirteen halls.
The exhibition is an authentic open-air museum in constant motion: thousands of vintage cars and motorcycles, from early 20th-century models to the latest youngtimers, are displayed and for sale. Alongside collectible vehicles, visitors will find Formula 1 single-seaters, rare prototypes, national previews from manufacturers, and collections from the most important museums and heritage hubs in the sector.
The visit is organized into four main itineraries that traverse the halls:
Each year, the exhibition hosts the most prestigious automotive brands and museums — from Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati to international manufacturers — along with enthusiast clubs celebrating the anniversaries of their iconic models. The 2025 edition featured, among other things, the major exhibition "75:1 – 75 years, one seat" dedicated to 75 years of Formula 1, with original single-seaters from the Fifties to the 2000s, and entire halls dedicated to vintage spare parts.
With over 5,000 vehicles on display and hundreds of exhibitors from across Europe, Auto e Moto d'Epoca has become one of the most anticipated events on the international collector's calendar. Its location in Bologna, in the heart of the Emilia-Romagna Motor Valley — the land of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Ducati, and Pagani — makes the event a natural focal point for those passionate about historic engines.
The 43rd edition of Auto e Moto d'Epoca confirms the dates from October 22nd to 25th, 2026 in the halls of BolognaFiere. As every year, the exhibition offers the four thematic routes — car market and restoration, motorcycles, culture and passion, spare parts and automobilia — with thousands of vehicles on display and for sale, collections from major museums and heritage hubs, federated clubs, and previews from manufacturers.
The planned hours are Thursday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday and Saturday 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. The complete calendar of exhibitions, celebrated anniversaries, and exhibitors will be published on the official website closer to the event. Tickets will be available online.
