The BMW Motorrad rally in Galliate
The BMW FederDays is the event that brings the large family of Italian BMW Motorrad clubs together in the municipality of Galliate, in the province of Novara, in the heart of lower Piedmont. Organized by the BMW Motorrad FederClub Italia with the patronage of the Municipality of Galliate, the event attracts hundreds of motorcyclists from all over Italy for an entire weekend, turning the town into a hub dedicated to the passion for two wheels.
Three days of engines, culture, and territory
The event's headquarters are spread across Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the monumental Castello Visconteo-Sforzesco, and the Santuario del Varallino. Among the most anticipated activities are the official BMW Motorrad test rides, featuring a wide selection of current models available for road tests accompanied by the brand's Tour Leaders. During the FederDays, there is also a stop for BMW Riding Together, the official BMW Motorrad tour dedicated to road testing with qualified instructors.
More than just motorcycles
Alongside the bikes, the FederDays offer exhibitions and activities dedicated to motorcycle culture, music and entertainment open to residents, as well as aperitifs and social dinners. Galliate, the hometown of the legendary racer Achille Varzi, showcases its heritage with guided tours of the Castle, the Achille Varzi Museum, the Santuario del Varallino, the Rice Farming Museum, and the Capittini Museum. The event culminates in a grand motorcycle parade that rides through the local area.

Friday, May 29
- From 5:00 PM — Opening at Piazza Vittorio Veneto
- Guided tours of the Castello Visconteo and the Achille Varzi Museum

Saturday, May 30
- From 9:00 AM — Village opening
- 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM — Official BMW Motorrad test rides
- 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM — Guided tours of the Castle and museums (including a stop at the Rice Farming Museum, limited spots)
- 4:00 PM - 6:15 PM — Conferences dedicated to motorcycle travel and adventure

How to get there
Galliate is located in the province of Novara, well-connected by the A4 Turin-Milan motorway (Novara Est exit) and reachable by train via the Novara station, just a few kilometers away. Milan Malpensa Airport is approximately 30 km away.
Registration and fees
The event requires registration and booking is mandatory, with limited spots for some activities. Indicative participation fees are €15 for Friday, €40 for Saturday, and €10 for Sunday, with a full three-day package available for €50.
Tips
We recommend booking test rides and the social dinner at the Santuario del Varallino in advance. For participants coming from outside the province, accommodation is available in Galliate and nearby Novara.
