The South African house pioneer opens the Carroponte season
The DJ set by Black Coffee is one of the opening events of the summer season at Kozel Carroponte, the live music venue on the border between Sesto San Giovanni and Milan, in the province of Milan. Black Coffee is a leading figure in international house music: the first South African artist to win a Grammy Award (Best Dance/Electronic Album), he has helped bring the African electronic scene to the center of global music.
The post-industrial setting of the Carroponte, a legacy of the iron and steel past of Sesto San Giovanni, welcomes the public for an evening of elegant and hypnotic deep house that has made the artist famous. His sets, capable of blending African rhythms and contemporary house sounds, transform the Carroponte esplanade into a large open-air dance floor.
Experiencing a concert at Carroponte means immersing yourself in a place of unique charm, where industrial archaeology dialogues with the music of the present. For years, a reference point for the live and clubbing scene in northern Milan, the Sesto San Giovanni venue confirms its international dimension with events of this caliber.
South African DJ and producer Black Coffee brings his deep house to Kozel Carroponte in Sesto San Giovanni on May 29, 2026, in an evening that inaugurates the Milanese venue's new season.
