Two evenings of music and art in the heart of Offida
The Bivio Art Festival (BAF) is one of the most genuine cultural realities in the Municipality of Offida, a medieval village in the province of Ascoli Piceno, in the Marche region. Conceived, self-funded, and created by a group of young volunteers from the Associazione Ricreativa Miriam, the festival was born in 2016 with a simple yet ambitious idea: to transform a neighborhood area into a shared, welcoming, and accessible cultural space for everyone.
The setting is the Parco Cesare Gabrielli, a green lung that for two July evenings fills with music, colors, and people. Here, 'bivio' (crossroads) is not just a name: it's the concept of a crossroads where musical genres, artistic languages, and different generations meet and influence each other.
The BAF program combines live concerts by Italian and international artists with performative art moments: theatrical shows, live painting sessions, and installations that animate the park and transform its spaces into widespread creative stages. Over the years, the festival has hosted artists such as Neri Marcorรจ, GANG, and Grupo Compay Segundo, alternating niche proposals with more popular acts, but always with careful curation and a recognizable identity.
Entry has always been free: a deliberate choice, consistent with the festival's mission to be a truly open and inclusive cultural project. BAF has made sustainability a concrete value, with initiatives like reusable glasses illustrated by artists and editorial projects dedicated to music. Attention to the ecological footprint and the community dimension makes the festival much more than a concert series: it's a people-centered experience.
In 2026, the Bivio Art Festival reaches its tenth edition, scheduled for July 15th and 16th. An important anniversary for an event that has grown step by step, always remaining true to its original spirit, and is now firmly established in the summer calendar of Offida and the Piceno area.
The tenth edition of the Bivio Art Festival is scheduled for July 15th and 16th, 2026, at Parco Cesare Gabrielli in Offida. A special anniversary for the event promoted by the Associazione Ricreativa Miriam, which once again this year confirms its free formula and its identity as an independent festival that intertwines music, art, territory, community, and sustainability.
The two evenings of the anniversary will be, as tradition dictates, curated and accessible: not just a celebration of the past, but an opportunity to offer the public quality live performances and artistic moments.
The opening evening of the anniversary is entrusted to Savana Funk, one of the most original live bands on the Italian scene. Formed in Bologna in 2015, they blend funk, rock, blues, and African music into a physical and driving sound, built around their stage presence. Over the years, they have performed at festivals like Jova Beach Party, Firenze Rocks, and Sziget Festival, collaborating with artists such as Willie Peyote and Gaudi.
The program for the second evening, other participating artists, and planned artistic activities will be announced in future official updates from the organizers.
As in previous editions, in addition to concerts, there will be performative art moments, live painting, and installations animating the park's spaces.

Admission to the festival is free on both evenings.
