Bassiano Prosciutto Festival

The 56th Bassiano Prosciutto Festival was held from July 25th to 27th, 2025, organized by the Municipality of Bassiano and the Pro Loco with the support of Arsial and the Lazio Region. On Friday the 25th, the inauguration opened the event with the round table "Prosciutto di Bassiano: Excellence to be Told" and the first tastings of prosciutto, cheese, oil, bread, and wine. Saturday was dedicated to visits to curing houses and farms, walks toward the Sanctuary of the Santissimo Crocifisso along the Via Francigena, workshops, and performances. On Sunday the 27th, the festival closed with the itinerant tasting in the alleys of the village. An edition that confirmed the event as one of the most beloved festivals of the Pontine summer.
