Edition 2025 — Barbajuai Festival

In 2025, the Barbajuai Festival celebrated the specialty of fried ravioli stuffed with pumpkin and brusso in Camporosso, coinciding with the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. Amidst the distribution of barbajuai, music, and devotion, the festival attracted numerous visitors, confirming the identity value of this dish from the Ligurian Ponente tradition.

The 2025 edition of the Barbajuai Festival brought the ritual of fried ravioli stuffed with pumpkin, rice, beans, and brusso to Camporosso, on the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. At the Palatenda Bigauda, the distribution of freshly fried barbajuai was the highlight of the day, accompanied by music and a festive atmosphere. The event reaffirmed the link between Camporosso and one of the most characteristic specialties of the cuisine of the Nervia Valley and the Riviera dei Fiori.
