Busto Arsizio's Christmas
BA è Natale is the grand Christmas program of Busto Arsizio, in the province of Varese. Organized by the Municipality, it brings together about a hundred events that, from late November until Epiphany, transform the city center and neighborhoods into a path of lights, music, and traditions. The start is marked by the lighting of the large tree in Via Milano and all the Christmas lights, accompanied by a Santa Claus parade.
Markets, ice, and attractions
The heart of the celebration is the markets: the Ambulanti dell'Insubria, the 'Arti e sapori di Nord Ovest' craft stalls, and the 'So fare' exhibition market at the Textile Museum. In Piazza San Giovanni, the ice skating rink is set up, while carousels, a little train, Santa's houses, nativity scenes, and light installations are spread throughout the streets and squares of the center.
Taste and music
There is also a gastronomic section with BA è Gusto at the Textile Museum, dedicated to typical products, panettone, and artisanal sweets. The calendar also offers numerous concerts — from Santa Cecilia to Sant'Ambrogio — in the city's basilicas, theaters, and halls, as well as shows, entertainment, and moments of solidarity like the 'Regalo Sospeso' (Suspended Gift).
A celebration for the whole city
The strength of BA è Natale lies in its widespread presence: events are not concentrated only in the center but reach the neighborhoods, from Sacconago to Sant'Edoardo, involving associations, merchants, and parishes. The result is a month and a half of festivities that make Busto Arsizio one of the most vibrant Christmas destinations in the Alto Milanese area.

The BA è Natale Christmas calendar returns to Busto Arsizio from late November 2026 to January 6, 2027. As tradition dictates, the program brings together about a hundred events: the lighting of the large tree in Via Milano and all the Christmas lights, the markets (Ambulanti dell'Insubria, 'Arti e sapori di Nord Ovest', the 'So fare' exhibition market at the Textile Museum), the ice skating rink in Piazza San Giovanni, carousels, a little train, nativity scenes, concerts, and Santa Claus parades. The detailed program and precise dates will be published in the weeks preceding the start.
