More than half a century of celebration and solidarity

In Castellucchio, in the province of Mantua, the AVIS Social Festival is much more than a village fair: it is the event that annually celebrates the value of blood donation and the bond of a community with its volunteer association. Organized by the local AVIS section, in 2026 the festival reaches its 54th edition, a record that tells of a tradition capable of spanning generations.

Four evenings at the Cooperativa La Fratellanza

The event takes place at the Cooperativa La Fratellanza and spans four consecutive evenings. The food stalls open every evening from 7:00 PM, offering traditional Mantuan dishes and cuisine designed to accompany the extensive entertainment program. It is a proven format that combines conviviality, music, and social commitment, capable of attracting audiences from all over the lower Mantua plain.

A music program for all tastes

The heart of the festival is live music: each evening has its own theme, from Italian beat hits to 2000s themed parties, up to cover bands paying tribute to the stars of the Italian scene, from Pinguini Tattici Nucleari to Vasco Rossi. Free admission and a family atmosphere make the AVIS Social Festival one of the most popular events of the Mantuan summer.
