Autumn Festival

2025 Edition

The 2025 Autumn Festival in Roccafiorita was held on October 18 and 19, bringing the streets of Sicily's smallest municipality to life with an experiential journey dedicated to the flavors of autumn. The displays were organized into five thematic areas: grain, flour, bread, and fresh pasta; local cheeses; sausage, cured meats, and oven-roasted porchetta; wine and mostarda; and seasonal fruits and vegetables such as country-style soup, wild artichokes, spinelle pears, and dried fruits.

There were numerous educational workshops dedicated to bread-making, the preparation of biscuits and macaroni, and the art of cheesemaking, along with winery visits and traditional cooking classes led by the village housewives. The event reaffirmed Roccafiorita's connection to the rural culture of the Agrò Valley and the Metropolitan City of Messina.
