The Ferragosto festival of Monastier
The Assumption Festival is the great summer festival of Monastier di Treviso, in the Marca Trevigiana region, dedicated to the Assumption of Mary on August 15th. For about a week, Piazza Vittoria becomes the heart of the event, organized by the Comitato Sagra dell'Assunta.
Gastronomy, music, and shows
The food stand, open every evening, offers typical traditional dishes, while from 9 PM onwards, shows and live music take place. A proven formula that combines good food, dancing, and entertainment for all ages.
A community celebration
For decades, the Assumption Festival has attracted residents of Monastier and neighboring towns, confirming itself as a landmark of the Treviso summer and an occasion for families, young people, and older generations to gather in Piazza Vittoria.
Assumption Festival — edition 2026
The 54th edition of the Assumption Festival enlivens Piazza Vittoria in Monastier di Treviso from August 13 to 19, 2026, around the Ferragosto holiday.
The food stand, open every evening from 7:00 PM, offers typical traditional dishes, while from 9:00 PM onwards, shows and live music take place. A week of celebration for the entire community, organized by the Comitato Sagra dell'Assunta.

How to get there
Monastier di Treviso is located between Treviso and San Donà di Piave, along the SR53 Postumia road. The festival takes place in Piazza Vittoria, in the town center.
