Edition 2025 — Asparagus Colobraro
The first edition of Asparagus in May 2025 inaugurated the wild asparagus festival of Colobraro, laying the foundation for the two-day format combining evening festivities, typical gastronomy, and a harvesting excursion in the countryside of the Matera village.
Asparagus debuted in 2025 as a new festival dedicated to the wild asparagus of Colobraro. The first edition established the event's structure: an evening of celebration with food stalls, entertainment, and music, alongside a day more focused on nature, with guided asparagus harvesting and themed menus in the village restaurants. A debut that encouraged the Municipality to propose and expand the event in the following year.
