About Arrosticini VS Bombette
Two regions, two traditions, one challenge
The Arrosticini VS Bombette Festival pits two symbols of Southern Italian street food against each other: Abruzzese arrosticini, grilled sheep meat skewers, and Puglian bombette, the delicious meat rolls typical of the Itria Valley. The challenge takes place in Bizzarone, a municipality in the Province of Como close to the Swiss border, where the traveling street food festival stops for three days.
Three days of taste at Area del Piazzolo
The event takes place at Area del Piazzolo, on Via Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour, and offers a proven formula: food stands dedicated to the two specialties, accompanied by side dishes, beer, and desserts. On Sundays, lunch service is also available, ideal for families and groups. The 36th edition confirms the festival as one of the longest-running food and wine events on the local calendar.
Tribute music every evening
Live music always accompanies the evenings: every night at 9:00 PM, a tribute band dedicated to great names in Italian and international music takes the stage. Organized by BizzaronEventi and Italia on The Road - Cucine Itineranti, the festival has free admission and requires no reservation.
Arrosticini VS Bombette — edition 2026
The 2026 edition brings back the challenge between the two Southern specialties—Abruzzese arrosticini and Puglian bombette—with food stands, side dishes, beer, and desserts. Friday and Saturday opening from 6:00 PM, Sunday from 11:00 AM with lunch and dinner. Every evening at 9:00 PM, a tribute band takes the stage. Free admission.
