The solstice of taste in Civitavecchia di Arpino

The medieval village of Civitavecchia, a hamlet of the Municipality of Arpino in the province of Frosinone, dedicated an event to the summer solstice that weaves together food and wine, culture, and the peasant tradition of Ciociaria. Among the polygonal walls of the ancient acropolis, local producers' stalls offered extra virgin olive oil, honey, wines, and local specialties, while taste workshops and live music accompanied the days.

Promoted by the Pro Loco of Arpino with the support of the Municipality, the Lazio Region, and ARSIAL as part of the 'TipicAmente Ciociaro' project, the festival was an opportunity to rediscover the authentic flavors of Southern Lazio in one of the most fascinating historic settings in the province.
