The village carnival in the hamlet of Arino in Dolo
The Arino Carnival is the village festival that enlivens the hamlet of Arino, in Dolo, in the province of Venice, during the carnival period. Organized by the young people of the ACR of Arino, it is an event with an authentic flavour, far from large crowds but rich in community participation.
The program combines live performance and street celebration. The multi-purpose hall of the Civic Centre hosts theatrical performances, while the mask parade takes place in the central streets of the village. There are also comedies in the Venetian dialect, with local theatre companies staging classics of the Goldonian tradition.
The Arino Carnival is above all a moment of gathering for the hamlet, where different generations come together for theatre, masks, and conviviality in the heart of the Riviera del Brenta.
