About Arese in Summer
A Summer of Culture in Arese
Arese in Summer is the summer review with which the Municipality of Arese, in the northwestern hinterland of Milan, enlivens the warm months with a rich, widespread program. Throughout the season, from June to the end of August, the city's squares, villas, and cultural centers become stages for shows, concerts, and meetings.
A Multidisciplinary Program
The Arese in Summer program spans different genres and languages:
- open-air cinema under the stars
- stand-up comedy shows
- classical and jazz music concerts
- ballroom dancing evenings under the stars
- poetry slam and literary encounters
- a philosophy festival with notable guests
Space is also given to young local musicians, with performances by emerging bands.
Venues of the Review
The events are distributed among the main city venues: Villa La Valera, the Agorà Civic Center, Largo Ungaretti, Piazza Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa, and Piazza 11 Settembre. A network of spaces that allows you to experience the city in all its areas during the summer.

Arese in Summer — edition 2026
Arese in Summer 2026 reintroduces the established format of the summer review by the Municipality of Arese, with events spread from June to August.
Following the model of previous editions, the program includes open-air cinema, stand-up comedy, classical and jazz music concerts, ballroom dancing evenings, poetry slam, and a philosophy festival, as well as performances by young local bands. The events will take place between Villa La Valera, the Agorà Civic Center, and the main city squares. The detailed program with dates and times will be announced by the Municipality of Arese in the weeks preceding the start of the review.
