Edition 2025 — ArcheoGusto

ArcheoGusto is rooted in the activities of CeDiAS, the Documentation Center for Archaeology and History of Montescudaio, inaugurated at the end of 2025 in the spaces adjacent to the Civic Tower. It is precisely from the birth of this "palace of memory" that the dialogue between archaeology and gastronomy, which characterizes the series, takes shape, designed to enhance the history and typical products of the Val di Cecina village.

The origins of ArcheoGusto

The ArcheoGusto format was born from the opening of the CeDiAS of Montescudaio, inaugurated towards the end of 2025 in the spaces near the Civic Tower. Conceived as a living center for outreach - more than a museum, a true "palace of memory" - CeDiAS houses prehistoric, Etruscan, Roman, and medieval artifacts from the Lower Val di Cecina. From this heritage comes the idea of intertwining the historical memory of the territory with its food and wine excellence, laying the foundations for the ArcheoGusto events.
