Ancient Franca Fair of Santa Caterina — Festival of Mandorlato and Tripe

The 2025 edition of the Ancient Franca Fair of Santa Caterina revived the traditional Festival of Mandorlato and Tripe in the hamlet of Lusiana Conco, on the Asiago Plateau.

Stalls along the village streets offered mandorlato, mountain pasture cheeses, cured meats, honey, grappa, ancient fruit varieties, and local crafts, while the food stand in the parish hall served tripe, minestrone soup, hot sandwiches, hot chocolate, and roasted chestnuts. Live music and entertainment accompanied the weekend, following the tradition linked to the Venetian Republic.

The 2025 program, as per tradition, featured stalls selling mandorlato and local products along the village streets over a weekend at the end of November, the food stand in the parish hall (tripe, minestrone soup, sandwiches, hot chocolate, roasted chestnuts) open from 10:00 AM, and moments of music and entertainment for all ages.
