The cultural review of evenings dedicated to the mountains and nature
"amMIRA la montagna" is the cultural review dedicated to the mountains and nature organized by the Italian Alpine Club โ Alberto Azzolini APS Mirano Section, in collaboration with CAI Veneto. The evenings are held at the Auditorium of the Library in Oriago, a hamlet of Mira, in the province of Venice.
Each edition revolves around a central theme and features meetings with speakers, experts, and scholars: geologists, botanists, mountaineers, and mountain historians. The review alternates scientific outreach, storytelling of experiences, and reflection on the landscape and environment, using language accessible to everyone.
Now in its 30th edition, amMIRA la montagna is one of the longest-running cultural events promoted by the CAI in the Mira area. The evenings are free to attend and are aimed at both Club members and all mountain and nature enthusiasts.
The 30th edition of "amMIRA la montagna", curated by CAI Mirano Section with CAI Veneto, has the theme "Knowing the Nature and Culture of Veneto". The three evenings are held at the Auditorium of the Library in Oriago di Mira, at 8:45 PM.
The program covers geology, botany, and the relationship between mountains and art, with specialized speakers, in a journey of discovery of the Veneto territory and its highlands.
The Auditorium of the Library in Oriago is located in the hamlet of Oriago di Mira (VE), reachable by car from the SR11 and by bus from the intercity lines between Venice and Padua.
The evenings begin at 8:45 PM. The meetings are organized by the CAI Mirano Section. For information, contact the section.
