The Festa Alpina is the major summer event of the Gruppo Alpini di Bonate Sopra, a municipality in the Province of Bergamo located in the Isola bergamasca area. For almost two weeks, the town's festival area comes alive every evening with a restaurant, bar, and pizzeria, accompanied by a rich entertainment program.
A double anniversary edition
The 2026 edition holds particular significance: it celebrates the 70th anniversary of the group's founding and the 40th anniversary of the inauguration of the Monument to the Alpino. The most solemn moment will be the ceremony on Tuesday, June 30th, at the Teatro Verdi in Bonate Sopra, featuring the alpine choir Voci del Brembo, dedicated to the seventieth anniversary.
Music and conviviality
The evenings feature ballroom dancing, Latin-American and Caribbean dances, orchestras, and tribute bands, in a schedule designed for all ages. From Zumba to dance schools, from ballroom orchestras to tributes to the greats of Italian music, the festival serves as a meeting point for the community of Bonate Sopra and surrounding towns, embodying the Alpine values of friendship, solidarity, and remembrance.

The 2026 Festa Alpina of the Gruppo Alpini di Bonate Sopra will be held from June 24th to July 5th in the town's festival area, with a restaurant, bar, and pizzeria open every evening.
The edition celebrates the 70th anniversary of the group's founding and the 40th of the inauguration of the Monument to the Alpino. The highlight will be the ceremony on Tuesday, June 30th, at 8:30 PM at the Teatro Verdi, featuring the alpine choir Voci del Brembo.
