Edition 2025 — Polenta and Cod
In 2025, the community of Alice Superiore once again renewed the tradition of the Polenta and Cod festival, the traditional lunch that marks the end of the Carnival season in the Valchiusella valley. Organized by the Pro Loco Val di Chy, the event brought together residents and visitors around the signature dish of the Canavese area in a festive and convivial atmosphere.
The 2025 edition of the Alice Polenta and Cod Festival confirmed the vitality of a tradition deeply felt in Alice Superiore, a hamlet of the municipality of Val di Chy. As is customary, following the Carnival festivities, the Pro Loco Val di Chy offered the classic lunch featuring yellow polenta and cod, accompanied by local flavors.
Like every year, the festival represented a moment of gathering for the small Valchiusella community, dedicated to traditional cuisine and village hospitality.
