About Alì Family Run
A run for the whole family
The Alì Family Run is the circuit of non-competitive runs linked to Venicemarathon, which in the weeks before the great international marathon stops in various municipalities of the Metropolitan City of Venice. The Portogruaro stage, in the province of Venice, is one of the most attended events: a route of about 4 kilometres open to families, students and people of all ages.
Sport, community and solidarity
The start is set in Piazza della Repubblica, in front of the town hall. It is not a race, but a walk-run designed to involve as many people as possible in a festive atmosphere. The event also has a strong solidarity vocation: part of the registration fees is donated to the schools involved and to the 'Disabili No Limits' association founded by Giusy Versace.
An event that fills the streets
Every year, the Portogruaro stage attracts thousands of participants, transforming the town centre into a colourful river of runners and walkers. Included in the programme to build anticipation for Venicemarathon, the Alì Family Run is now an eagerly awaited autumn event in the Eastern Veneto, capable of combining the promotion of sport for all with support for concrete social causes.
Alì Family Run — edition 2026
The Portogruaro stage of the Alì Family Run returns in autumn 2026 as part of the build-up to Venicemarathon, scheduled for Sunday, October 25th, 2026. A non-competitive run-walk of approximately 4 km starting from Piazza della Repubblica, open to families and all ages, with part of the proceeds donated to schools and the 'Disabili No Limits' association.

The exact date of the Portogruaro stage for the 2026 edition will be published by the Venicemarathon organization in the weeks prior (the event takes place in the days leading up to the marathon on October 25th, 2026). Based on recent editions, the schedule includes:
- Gathering and village in Piazza della Repubblica
- Start around 10:00 AM, in front of the town hall
- Route of approximately 4 km non-competitive through the town centre
- Participation of schools, families and citizens of all ages

How to get there
Portogruaro is in the province of Venice, in the Eastern Veneto. By train on the Venice-Trieste line (Portogruaro-Caorle station). By car from the A4 motorway, Portogruaro exit. Start in Piazza della Repubblica.
