The great electronic music festival at Fano Airport
The Adriatic Sound Festival is one of the most ambitious electronic music events born in Italy in recent years. Its home is the Fano Airport, in the Municipality of Fano, in the Province of Pesaro and Urbino, in the heart of the Marche region: an unusual and evocative location, where hangars and runways become the backdrop for a large techno and house gathering overlooking the Adriatic Sea. From June 12 to 14, 2026, the festival brings together over thirty international artists and welcomes up to fifteen thousand spectators per evening.
The festival's structure revolves around two large stages with very different characters. The Temple is a 360-degree stage-sculpture dedicated mainly to house music, while The Hangar is the darker, more powerful space, devoted to techno, with the airport hangars serving as a natural backdrop and 3D mapping projections. The stage design is by the London studio Stufish Entertainment Architects, the same one that created the stage designs for the tours of Beyoncé, Rolling Stones, and Adele.
The 2026 edition features top names from the global scene: at the top of the lineup are Fisher, Sven Väth with a dedicated takeover of his brand Cocoon, ARTBAT, Boris Brejcha, Honey Dijon, and ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, alongside artists such as Marcel Dettmann, Miss Monique, Gerd Janson, Dennis Ferrer, Patrick Mason, Roman Flügel, and Anetha. Alongside foreign guests, there is also space for Italian talents like Brunello, Belladonna, Saraga, Riccardo Prosperi, and Fifi Forte.
The festival is part of a city, Fano, which boasts a long tradition of popular and cultural events, from the famous Carnival to Fano Jazz by the Sea. The Adriatic Sound Festival complements its summer offerings by attracting a young and international audience and generating significant tourism for the entire Marche coast. The event traditionally opens with an inaugural ceremony in the historic center, in a curious dialogue between the city's ancient heritage and contemporary clubbing culture.
The 2026 edition of the Adriatic Sound Festival takes place from Friday, June 12 to Sunday, June 14 at Fano Airport, extending to three days. An opening ceremony is scheduled for June 11 in the historic center of Fano, at the Church of San Francesco. The festival confirms the two-stage format (The Temple for house, The Hangar for techno) and a lineup of over thirty international artists. Presales are handled by Ticketmaster.
