Abano Street Carnival

The 18th edition of Abano Street Carnival is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, 2026, with a reserve date of April 19 in case of bad weather. The parade starts in the early afternoon from the central streets and reaches the main squares of Abano Terme.

Over 1700 participants, allegorical floats, and masked groups from all over the Veneto region liven up the procession, accompanied by musicians and street artists. In the square, a jury evaluates the floats and proceeds with the awards ceremony, while for the little ones, there are games, creative workshops, and street food stands.

Sunday, April 12

• Early afternoon — Start of the parade of allegorical floats from the central streets (Via Valerio Flacco area)
• Procession with over 1700 participants, masked groups, musicians, and street artists
• Arrival in the main squares with evaluation by the jury and awards ceremony
• Activities for children with games and creative workshops
• Street food and local product stands

In case of rain, the event is postponed to Sunday, April 19, 2026.

How to get there

Abano Terme can be reached by car from the A13 motorway (Terme Euganee exit) and by bus from Padua. The parade takes place in the streets and squares of the city centre.

When and admission

The parade is held on Sunday afternoons, starting in the early afternoon. Free admission.
