A Journey into Leffe's Memory
A Dive into the Past is the folk event that brings back to life the traditions and memories of Leffe, a municipality in Val Seriana in the Province of Bergamo. Organized by the association Leffe Giovani, it reaches its second edition in 2026 and offers a day dedicated to nostalgia and the rediscovery of the village's roots.
The Fiat 500 Gathering
The heart of the afternoon is the gathering of vintage Fiat 500s, produced between 1957 and 1977: the iconic Italian small cars meet in Piazza della Libertà starting from 4:00 PM, and then parade along the streets of the center. A spectacle that revives the Italy of the economic boom and attracts vintage car enthusiasts from all over the valley.
The Corsa de Zèrc
In the evening, from 8:00 PM, the re-enactment of the Corsa de Zèrc takes place, the ancient hoop race. It's a game of yesteryear — children used to run pushing a metal hoop with a special stick — that enlivened the village streets in the Sixties, born as a youth competition promoted by a local priest, Don Pietro Selogni. Its re-enactment brings a piece of Leffe's popular history back to the square.
Nostalgia and Community
Among vintage cars, old-fashioned games, and moments of socializing, "A Dive into the Past" celebrates Leffe's collective memory and the joy of being together. It's an event that enhances local traditions and involves the entire community, in the heart of Val Seriana and the Lombardy Region.

"A Dive into the Past" 2026, the second edition, takes place on Saturday, June 6, in the center of Leffe, in Val Seriana, organized by Leffe Giovani. The event runs from 4:00 PM until late evening.
