'A Cillisi - Scents of the Past, Flavors of Tradition

'A Cillisi 2025: the tenth edition

From August 17 to 19, 2025, Celle di Bulgheria celebrated the tenth anniversary of 'A Cillisi - Scents of the Past, Flavors of Tradition. The route, with entry from Via Roma, opened every evening from 8:30 PM and traversed the old village, recreating the atmosphere of the late 19th century amidst stone arches, lanterns, and folk music.

The protagonist was Cellese peasant cuisine, with twenty-five different dishes distributed along the open-air taverns: cheeses such as mozzarella aged on myrtle branches and goat's milk primosale, local cured meats, fried zucchini flowers, fried pizzas, and potato croquettes, handmade pasta such as cavatielli with ragù and pasta with chickpeas, and homemade desserts.

The program included shows in the squares, roving performances, the ancient crafts market, and activities for children. The organization, managed by the Asscer Cellarum association with the Municipality, provided a free shuttle service from the Sports Field parking lot every thirty minutes, from 8:00 PM to 12:30 AM, and maintained a plastic-free policy for the entire event.
