150 Years at the Table is the food and wine event with which Montebelluna, in the province of Treviso, celebrates an important anniversary: 150 years since the transfer of the city market from the Old Market hill to the plain. An anniversary that tells the story of the city itself, which grew around its market.
Flavors and aromas of the past
For the occasion, a street in the center is transformed into a long table under the stars. The local restaurateurs, gathered in the Montello a Tavola group, offer a surprise menu inspired by the "flavors and aromas of the past," with simple and tasty dishes like those of yesteryear, accompanied by wines from the hills. The setup and service are also handled by Tonon Nicola Events & Catering.
A community celebration
The initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Montebelluna and the Pro Loco of Montebelluna, is part of the celebrations for the market's anniversary and combines taste, memory, and conviviality. Period-themed entertainment accompanies the evening, in a city center that for one night goes back in time.
