Edition 2025 — ZooArt

During the summer of 2025, ZooArt once again enlivened the reclaimed spaces of the former zoo cages beneath the Passeggiata Orientale in Ortona, confirming its status as a central venue for the Estate Ortonese. Contemporary art exhibitions, concerts, performances, and workshops took place between July and September with free admission, in the setting overlooking the Adriatic Sea.

In 2025, the ZooArt festival continued its journey, begun in 2006, of enhancing the spaces of the former municipal zoo cages beneath the Passeggiata Orientale of Ortona (province of Chieti, Abruzzo). As per tradition, the association offered a multidisciplinary program of contemporary art, with exhibitions, live music, performances, and socio-cultural workshops.

The festival confirmed its role as the creative heart of the Estate Ortonese, the summer calendar of the Municipality of Ortona, offering free-entry events in one of the most evocative regenerated urban spaces in the city, overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
