Zero Festival in Matelica
Zero Festival is a major music and entertainment event held at the Maria Fiorella Conti Urban Park in Matelica, in the province of Macerata, in the heart of the Marche region. Founded in 2026 from an idea by Much More and Zeropop, the festival transforms the city park into a large, sprawling arena for four days, animated non-stop from lunch until late at night. Admission is completely free, and the atmosphere is designed for audiences of all ages.
The Three Stages
The musical heart of Zero Festival is spread across three distinct stages, each with its own identity:
- Zero Stage: The main stage, equipped with a backstage, dance floor, and bar, dedicated to major evening shows and late-night DJ sets.
- Pop Stage: The space for live performances and musical moments during lunch and dinner.
- Lab Stage: The most creative area, featuring afternoon DJ sets, performances, and activities.
Music and Entertainment
The program alternates live concerts, DJ sets, party formats, and special guests, spanning light music, indie, swing, and electronic genres. Alongside the music, the festival offers a rich schedule of collateral activities: show cooking dedicated to dialectal cuisine, creative and upcycling workshops, a market of local typical products, a family area with entertainment for children, a vintage market, artistic performances, and circus shows.
Sport and Territory
Zero Festival is not just about music: the Playground hosts a 3vs3 basketball tournament, while attention to sustainability is demonstrated through an eco-point dedicated to separate waste collection. The event aims to enhance the territory of the Municipality of Matelica and promote the food, wine, and artisanal excellences of the Marche region, in a spirit of shared celebration.
A New Festival for Matelica
With its absolute first edition in 2026, Zero Festival joins Matelica's vibrant summer calendar, alongside the many events promoted in the city. The free format, the variety of appointments, and the green setting of Maria Fiorella Conti Park make it an event suitable for families, young people, and music lovers, designed to attract visitors from the entire province of Macerata and beyond.

Zero Festival 2026: The First Edition
The absolute first edition of Zero Festival takes place in Matelica from May 30 to June 2, 2026, at the Maria Fiorella Conti Urban Park, with completely free admission across three stages: Zero Stage, Pop Stage, and Lab Stage.
Saturday, May 30, the Lab Stage hosts afternoon DJ sets by Paolo Cappelletti and Leonardo Carloni, the Pop Stage features the live performance "The Rascal of Swing," and the evening brings the Super 90 party; the Playground hosts the "Memorial Massimo Gentilucci" 3vs3 basketball tournament. Sunday, May 31, after DJ sets by Disco Strummer and Marco Rosetti and the live performance by Make'em Wet, the long musical night on the Zero Stage features Nicola Pigini, Riccardo Lori, Notti Indie, and Tachipirina. Monday, June 1, is dedicated to the PlayGround Set by Baff, the concert by Ellebi Duo, and an evening with Alessio Lazzarano, Bredy, Francoholic, and special guest Chadia Rodriguez. Tuesday, June 2, the grand finale features the Quartetto Eccetera live and DJs Federico Rosa, Tommy Soul, Giorgio Procaccini, Giovanni Filippini, and Kroove In.

By car: Matelica is accessible via the SS256 Muccese; from the A14 motorway, take the Civitanova Marche exit, then the SS77 dual carriageway towards Camerino/Castelraimondo. By train: Matelica station on the Civitanova Marche–Albacina line. The nearest airport is Ancona-Falconara.
