Edition 2025 — Zagara Bianca Lemon Festival
The 2025 edition of the Zagara Bianca Lemon Festival was held on May 10 and 11 in Calatabiano, marking the start of the Maggio Calatabianese festivities in honor of the patron saint San Filippo Siriaco, in conjunction with the Medlar Festival.
The day opened at 10:00 AM in Piazza San Filippo with the opening of the stalls and free tastings of lemon granita. Following this, at 11:00 AM, the folk group parade took place in collaboration with the Spiraglio association, and at noon, educational, artistic, and motor skills workshops for children were held regarding the history and culture of the Calatabiano lemon. The evenings concluded with performances by musical groups and folkloric shows, while the stalls offered tastings of typical lemon-based dishes and live cooking demonstrations of the lemon cream cake.
