A music festival that chooses the suburbs

The Young Sound Festival is a musical event held in Rome, in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, in the heart of the Lazio region. The venue is neither a historic city-center theater nor a large arena, but the open-air spaces of Casale Caletto, at Via di Cervara 200, in the Tor Cervara district on the eastern outskirts of the capital. The festival's artistic direction is intentionally cross-genre. Over the course of two evenings, the program shifts from Italian singer-songwriter music to rap and instrumental jazz, without any hierarchy of genres. Public support and the "Per chi crea" project

The festival is promoted by the Trousse APS Association and is realized with the contribution of the Ministry of Culture and SIAE as part of the "Per chi crea" program, a call for proposals dedicated to supporting creativity for those under 35. This framework explains the event's core mission:

• providing concrete support to young talents, with paid performances and professional technical production;
• spreading Italian musical culture in an inclusive way;
• building collaborative networks between artists, institutions, and industry professionals.

Free admission and neighborhood spirit

All evenings are free and open to the public, with no reservation required. This is a central element of the project: total economic accessibility is what allows the festival to truly be a community event rather than an appointment reserved for industry insiders. Concerts begin in the evening, when the Roman heat of late June subsides, and the Casale Caletto space welcomes the public in an informal setting, suitable even for families.
