Edition 2025 — Yellow Melon Festival
The 24th edition (August 2-3, 2025)
The twenty-fourth edition of the Yellow Melon Festival was held in Joppolo Giancaxio (province of Agrigento) on August 2 and 3, 2025, organized by the Municipal Administration led by Mayor Domenico Migliara and the local Pro Loco.
The two-day event offered tastings of dishes prepared with local yellow melon, food and craft stalls, and plenty of live music. Among the novelties of the edition, an exhibition space dedicated to Sicilian carts and the performance of the musical trio "Piccola orchestra del Carretto" with Giovanni Camilleri, celebrating the island's popular tradition. The event, with free admission, attracted visitors from all over the province of Agrigento.
