2025 Edition
The third edition of the World Triathlon Cup Rome took place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in the setting of the EUR Lake, with the women's race starting at 9:30 AM and the men's at 11:30 AM. On the Sprint distance (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run), victory went to Austrian Carina Reicht in the women's category and Belgian Arnaud Mengal in the men's.
The performance of the Italian Triathlon Federation athletes was excellent: Verena Steinhauser finished in seventh place, followed by Angelica Prestia (ninth) and Beatrice Mallozzi. The event, part of the World Triathlon circuit, confirmed Rome and the EUR district as a premier stage for international triathlon in the Lazio region.
