Edition 2025 — Saint Potitus the Martyr

The 2025 winter edition of the festivities in honor of Saint Potitus the Martyr took place in Ascoli Satriano on January 13th and 14th. Following the novena, the First Solemn Vespers presided over by Bishop Fabio Ciollaro were held on January 13th; the 14th featured the procession of the silver bust, the solemn Mass, and the evening fireworks with the lighting of the "ciuccio di San Potito" in Piazza Giovanni Paolo II.

The 2025 winter patronal feast renewed the devotion to Saint Potitus the Martyr in Ascoli Satriano on January 13th and 14th. The novena accompanied the preceding days with the Rosary and Holy Mass with sung Vespers. On Monday, January 13th, the morning Eucharistic celebration was held, followed in the evening by the First Solemn Vespers presided over by Bishop Fabio Ciollaro.

On Tuesday, January 14th, the day of the solemnity, the feast began in the morning with the firing of mortars and the solemn procession of the saint's silver bust, accompanied by the town band; in the afternoon, the solemn Mass was held, and in the evening, the fireworks display with the lighting of the "ciuccio di San Potito" in Piazza Giovanni Paolo II, amidst the faith, tradition, and joy of the Monti Dauni community.
