Wines & Vinyls: the village of Montalfoglio between glasses and music

In the heart of the Marche hills, where the Cesano valley opens towards Mount Catria and the Furlo mountains, the small fortified village of Montalfoglio becomes the natural stage for Wines & Vinyls. The event, promoted by the Municipality of San Lorenzo in Campo (Province of Pesaro and Urbino, Marche), brings an evening dedicated to the encounter between the territory's wine excellences and author music within the ancient stone walls.

A medieval village as a setting

Montalfoglio is one of the two hamlets of San Lorenzo in Campo, along with San Vito sul Cesano. A walled village of medieval origin, it still preserves its entrance gate, the tower with the clock, and the typical stone houses, with a 360-degree view from the mountains to the sea. Documented as early as 1290, it was a fief of the Montevecchio family for over two centuries before passing under the control of the Holy See in 1631. Walking through its alleys with a glass in hand means traversing centuries of history.

Wine and music in the same evening

The formula of Wines & Vinyls is simple and alluring: a sensory journey that combines the tasting of wines from the Vallesina and Cesano valleys with author music, in an intimate and cozy atmosphere. After the success of the first edition in 2025, the initiative is confirmed as one of the most evocative moments of the San Lorenzo spring calendar, designed for residents, tourists, and enthusiasts who want to discover local flavors in a timeless setting.

When and where

The second edition takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, in the village of Montalfoglio. The evening hours allow you to enjoy the sunset over the hills and experience the transition from daylight to the nocturnal atmosphere of the illuminated village, while vinyl records provide the soundtrack to your stroll among the tasting stands.
