Edition 2025 — Wine Festival Winter Edition

The 2025 edition of the Wine Festival - Winter Edition took place on December 5 and 6 in Carosino, in the province of Taranto. For two evenings, the center of the village came alive around the monumental fountain that flowed with Primitivo wine, featuring food and wine stalls with pettole and local specialties, artisan markets, Christmas and wine-themed art exhibitions, live music, and entertainment. The event was promoted by the Pro Loco Carosino APS together with the Municipality of Carosino.

The Winter Edition 2025 of the Carosino Wine Festival was held on December 5 and 6, 2025, bringing the atmosphere of the historic wine festival back to the historic center in a Christmas version.

The heart of the event, as per tradition, was the monumental fountain in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III, from which Primitivo wine flowed once again. Along the village streets, visitors found food and wine stalls with pettole and typical products, artisan and Christmas markets, art exhibitions dedicated to Christmas and wine culture hosted in historic palaces, as well as live music, DJ sets, children's entertainment, and the presence of Santa Claus.

The event, with free admission, was organized by the Pro Loco Carosino APS with the Municipality of Carosino and local associations, confirming itself as one of the most beloved Christmas events in the Taranto area.

Programme

Program over two evenings (December 5-6, 2025): lighting of the monumental fountain with Primitivo wine, food and wine stalls with pettole and local specialties, artisan and Christmas markets, Christmas and wine-themed art exhibitions in historic palaces, live music, DJ sets, children's entertainment, and Santa Claus.
