Edition 2025 — Wildlife Photographer of the Year

In 2025, Forte di Bard once again hosted Wildlife Photographer of the Year, the nature photography exhibition from London's Natural History Museum. On display were the award-winning images from the international competition, with extraordinary shots dedicated to wildlife, animal behaviour, and the planet's most remote environments.

In 2025, Forte di Bard renewed its appointment with Wildlife Photographer of the Year, the prestigious wildlife photography exhibition promoted by the Natural History Museum of London. The exhibition presented the winning and finalist photographs from the international competition, telling the story of the beauty and fragility of the natural world through impactful images.

The exhibition, set up in the exhibition spaces of the Aosta Valley fortress, confirmed Forte di Bard's role as a key Italian venue for the world's most important nature photography award, attracting enthusiasts and families from all over the Aosta Valley and beyond.

Programme

The 2025 edition exhibited at Forte di Bard the winning and finalist images from the Natural History Museum of London's Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, divided into the various award categories (animal behaviour, portraits, environments, underwater photography, young photographers), with the usual opening hours of the museum complex.
