Edition 2025 — Wild Boar Festival

The 2025 edition of the Wild Boar Festival took place in Pennapiedimonte from August 5th to 31st, with evening events throughout most of the month. Every evening, starting at 7:00 PM, the stands in the historic center offered specialties based on wild boar and venison, accompanied by music, dancing, and a market of local products and crafts.

For the summer of 2025, the Pennapiedimonte Wild Boar Festival brought back its long August calendar, enlivening the Majella village from the 5th to the 31st of the month. The evenings, starting at 7:00 PM, featured traditional dishes: stewed and sweet-and-sour wild boar, venison, cured meats, meatballs, pappardelle, and sagne e ceci.

As every year, the event combined gastronomic tastings with entertainment featuring live music and dancing, while the market of local products and handicrafts accompanied the evenings. The event confirmed the festival's role as one of the main summer attractions in the area, drawing visitors to Pennapiedimonte from all over Abruzzo and beyond.
