Wild Boar Festival

The 2025 Wild Boar Festival was held on Saturday, August 2, from 8:00 PM, in the village of Sperone, a hamlet of Gioia dei Marsi (AQ). The evening, dedicated to traditional Marsican wild boar dishes, was part of the municipal summer program, which featured 64 events running until the end of September.

During the same period, the town offered other typical gastronomic festivals, such as the Gioia fried food festival, the sagna pasta festival, and the piliero festival, confirming Gioia dei Marsi's summer as a major attraction for traditional Abruzzo cuisine.
