The Wild Boar and Fiorentina Steak Festival brings the flavours of Tuscany to the Maggiolone Social Park in Cassano Magnago, a municipality in the Province of Varese. For three days in mid-May, the park on Via Primo Maggio becomes an open-air Tuscan trattoria, featuring the most beloved dishes of Maremma and Florentine tradition.
Wild Boar, Fiorentina Steak, and Tuscan Specialties
The menu is a tribute to Tuscan cuisine: pici pasta with wild boar ragù, Maremma-style tortellini with butter and sage, and especially the famous one-kilo Fiorentina steak served with fries and tartar sauce. There's also panzanella, wild boar stew, roast ribs, and Tuscan skewers. Service is at the table, with limited seating and reservations recommended; takeaway is also available.
Music and Entertainment
The evenings are accompanied by music: on Friday, the Missing Cats with their rock covers; on Saturday, karaoke hosted by Ariele; on Sunday, Luciano and Paola with ballroom dancing. Play areas and a shooting gallery remain open throughout the festival, making it suitable for families and groups of friends.
An Indoor Festival
Like other events in the Maggiolone Social Park season, the festival takes place under a covered structure of over 1,600 sqm, ensuring it proceeds even in bad weather. It's a free-entry event that enriches the calendar of themed festivals in Cassano Magnago and the Varese region.
Wild Boar & Fiorentina Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Wild Boar and Fiorentina Steak Festival runs from May 15 to 17 at Maggiolone Social Park in Cassano Magnago. On the menu are pici pasta with wild boar ragù, Maremma-style tortellini, the one-kilo Fiorentina steak, panzanella, wild boar stew, and Tuscan skewers. The evenings are filled with rock music, karaoke, and ballroom dancing.
