2025 Edition
The eighteenth edition of the Wild Asparagus Festival took place on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in the historic center of Poggio Moiano, a village in the Sabina area in the province of Rieti. As per tradition, the opening of the food stalls at 1 PM kicked off the most anticipated part of the day, with a menu built entirely around wild asparagus: asparagus fettuccine, the festival's signature dish, and asparagus bites as a main course.
The afternoon offered an unusual program for a village festival: from 2 PM, the square hosted boxing matches, while the soundtrack of the day was entrusted to the live music of Born to Run. In 2025, the event, organized by the Pro Loco, once again attracted numerous visitors from the province of Rieti and the Roman area.
