White Night of Sport

The first edition of the White Night of Sport in Pontedera was a great success, transforming the historic center into an authentic open-air sports village from the early afternoon. About twenty-five sports associations took turns at the various stations: in Piazza Martiri della Libertà, there was space for football clubs (Oltrera, Stella Azzurra, and Pontedera), volleyball with Era Volley and Ambra Cavallini, and skaters, while Corso Matteotti hosted stands from CONI, UISP, AIA, and Dimensione Nuoto. The evening part was animated by three stages: one in Piazza Curtatone with sports talks and live shows, one at the Piazzone with cabaret and performances, and one in Viale Italia with a tribute band from 9:00 PM. The event, organized by the Municipality of Pontedera with Confesercenti, attracted thousands of people to the center, confirming itself as a great opportunity for the city and local commerce.
