Wheat Festival

The 4th edition of the Wheat Festival was held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM, at the Sala Fons Rademarkers inside Parco Matteotti in Collevecchio. The event, organized by the Municipality of Collevecchio together with local associations and under the patronage of ASL Rieti and the CEREALIA Festival, opened with the conference "Flours, ancient and modern grains between history and traditions," an opportunity to reflect on the historical, cultural, and nutritional importance of cereals.

Several scholars and experts in the field took part in the conference, including Roberto Lorenzetti, Francesco Benedetti, Paola Sàrcina (founder of the CEREALIA Festival), Professor Enrico Martinoli, Dr. Emanuela Di Marcantonio, and anthropologist Tiziana Ciavardini. The event was open to citizens, scholars, farmers, and enthusiasts of agricultural tradition, confirming the festival's vocation to combine cultural insight with the identity of the Sabina territory.
