Welsberger Fasching (Welsberg Carnival)

The Faschingsrevue at the Paul Troger Haus

True to its biennial rhythm, the Faschingsgilde Welsberg staged the Faschingsrevue at the Kulturhaus Paul Troger in Welsberg (Monguelfo-Tesido, Puster Valley). The program included the premiere night on Friday, followed by shows on Saturday, Monday, and Shrove Tuesday, all starting at 8:00 PM.

As per tradition, the Saturday night revue continued with the Faschingsball, the carnival dance animated by live music across multiple floors of the hall until late at night. Between comedy sketches, satire on village events, and dance choreographies, the event renewed its role as a defining carnival appointment in the Puster Valley, also highlighting the association's commitment to charity.
